See all our restaurants and bars Our customer reviews for « Novotel Standard » • All the staff were excellent especially Mariana who was especially kind.Also, the guy from Portugal (can’t remember his name).• The location was perfect, not only my business, but the variety of restaurants in the area, especially the two Lebanese, and the two Brasseries in Annemasse itself.• I have been living / visiting here for 18 years.The new bus services between Annemasse Station and Cornavin (No 61) has made a huge difference – there is a stop outside the hotel.• I cannot comment about breakfast as I do not eat it but the coffee machine made good coffee.• The room (507) was clean and had a great view of the Juras.It was the largest room in any Ibis that I have stayed at worldwide.Quite a new concept, not usual capsule design.• The maid service was beyond reproach.• My only problem was the internet, not from their own server but the connection from the hotel to their Internet Service Provider.

I am sure they have tried to correct this but I understand this is a universal problem in the Annemasse area.Probably the fault of Orange with whom I and everyone has problems.The internet speed would vary from 0 to 30 mps from minute to minute and thus Skype conversations were almost impossible.I tested it early morning to late at night and it was always the same and not because of the number of users in the hotel.All the mobile signals were intermittent (Orange, SFR), the only reliable one being Swisscom if you were close enough to the border.Why do you French put up with this ???Manager6232, General Manager at Ibis Annemasse, responded to this review Dear Dr Wilbur, We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the ibis Annemasse.It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback.I will share your comments with our team.I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services.

Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one.Sincerely, JL Henneaux Manager « A resonable stay with an honest price.» Ibis Anemasse , just few blocks from the french- swiss border in Moillesoulaz is a well located place , with an honest price, for those that are doing businees in Geneve and do not like to spend unnecessar money for a reasonable business stay in this city.Well served by bus line 61 ,directly from Cornavin, and vice-versa ,Annemasse offers an unique quality of the Haute Savoy experiences in gastronomy and wines, as well as a good place to reach Chamonix and the Mont Blanc - or for that matter , Lugano, in Italy, as well , both by car and traim.« Always a pleasant stay » I have stayed many times at this hotel.As always it is a pleasant experience.The staff is friendly and very competent, the room clean and functional and the bed comfortable.The value for money is excellent considering the proximity to Geneva.

« good quality ratio price » You know what to expect, staying at an IBIS.The room is large and clear, compared with other hotels of the same brand/category.A bathroom mat would have been appreciated.Breakfast is excellent with large variety of good food.Surrounding are so so, but this is the case in the area, and still practical for those who have to go to Geneva, southern part.Personel is limited but friendly.« George » An ideal location 15mins walk from the Swiss border and 10mins from the Leman-Mt Blanc walking trail.Good cheap restaurants close by and a bus to Geneve from outside the Hotel No61.The breakfast was good although during my 4 night stay I did go to the local bakery for excellent crossaints on two occasions .« Clean and organized » My wife and I stayed at Ibes Annemasse for two days in middle April.We're looking for a ski station.Anemasse, the city, was our base and we went to Avoriaz to ski.The hotel staff is very friendly and polite.A clean room and confortable.

A simple but tastefull breakfast.The fact that one of the attendant speaks portuguese did help us a lot.« very good » The location is very o.k., possibility to arrive to Geneva city center within 15 minutes, the room size very good and clean.I missed prospects or map of the vicinity.Parking for disposal at any time free of charge.« Good as expected » You don't risk much when you go to an Ibis hotel, everything is standardized so the rooms are always clean, beds confortable, good breakfast, etc.You usually don't get any surprises and this is why I like it.From this hotel I liked the beds, it was a king bed and it was pretty confortable, also the bathroom was big and had a nice bathtub.Breakfast was as usual very good and the items were constantly replenished.Location was OK, you know it is kind of far from Geneva so this is no surprise.Apparently there is a new bus that only takes 20 minutes to old town.We took our car and the receptionist was kind enough to show us the way to go to Geneva without paying the vignette.
