Reply 15Likes Top All This Page Anyone using iQOS here ?where did you buy it and what changed ?can I get heat sticks in HK or do I have to import them ?I have 2, one from the EU (Italy) and one from Japan. The heat sticks are not available in HK, and I get mine through a batch order from a colleague who orders from TaoBao.The reason I have 2 is that they will break, just a small drop and its gone, roughly 80% of my colleagues that smoked have switched over to using an iQOS but none of theirs has lasted a year.Chances are that the iQOS won't get released here due to the laws being a little backward here and most probably throwing this into the same category as vaping, and nicotine is not allowed in vaping here. For the heat sticks I use a combination of the Marlboro iQOS ones and Parliament ones which working out about $27 a packet. They're a sub company of Marlboro and works just the same.Did anyone else expect this to be a thread about Mac networking?I would have never believed you were a smoker Morrison !

Thanks, Proplus , very valuable info.I was in big China so could not access Geo.Saw two China girls at the airport and talked to them, they also stock up through Taobao. They said the heat sticks on Taobao come from Russia, interesting trade route.how much cost the iQos kit?It is priced at 9,980 yen($88.30), and is traded at 12,000 yen or more on Internet auction sites.Originally Posted by jgl Seeing that it was posted by Morrison, I expected it to be some super exotic trading platform or something like that.

The announcement comes as the New York City-based multinational industry leader seeks Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to market IQOS as a Modified Risk Tobacco Product (MRTP) in order to beat out its mounting competition in the alternative tobacco space.PMI applied for FDA approval in December, after launching IQOS in late 2014.Big Tobacco's Innovation Race As smoking rates decline and government regulation, new nicotine taxes and anti-smoking campaigns pressure the industry, major industry players have waged somewhat of an innovation race to meet changing consumer demands.

Philip Morris launched IQOS and HEETS in New Zealand in December 2016 as part of the company’s global commitment to replacing conventional cigarettes with smoke-free alternatives.Mr Erickson said the company is confident that the sale of IQOS and HEETS fully complies with the Smoke-Free Environments Act (1990) and other relevant legislation in New Zealand.“The section of the law referenced by the Ministry in its action against Philip Morris was originally put in place in the 1990s to address American-style chewing tobacco,” Mr Erickson said.“We stand behind IQOS and HEETS,” Mr Erickson said.“But it’s clear that old 20th century laws are not sufficient to address new 21st century technologies that New Zealand smokers are embracing as they move away from combustible cigarettes.” The New Zealand Government announced in March that it would legalise the sale and supply of nicotine e-cigarettes and e-liquid, and establish a pathway to enable emerging tobacco and nicotine-delivery products to be sold lawfully as consumer products.“We support New Zealand’s Smokefree 2025 goal,” Mr Erickson said.

“Philip Morris looks forward to working with government to ensure IQOS and HEETS are fully understood in the context of the regulations being developed for e-cigarettes and emerging tobacco and nicotine-delivery products.”IQOS is available in in more than 20 countries around the world, including the UK, Japan, Italy and Switzerland.Globally more than two million smokers have switched to IQOS and the company has plans to expand to key cities in 30 countries by the end of 2017.ENDS NEW ZEALAND POLITICS Todd Barclay Won't Stand Again: Gordon Campbell On The Cover-UpIn German “Tod” means death, which is a fair indicator of the flatlining career prospects of the current MP for Clutha-Southland.Not cooperating with the Police over the circumstances of his secretive recording of the workers in his electorate office was bad enough...
