The only thing we did not like was Amusement park at North Myrtle Beach, wouldn't waste my time there again..The workers were rude and rides not in very good shape.. 1 “” If you want a clean room DO NOT stay here!!!This was the nastiest room we have ever stayed in!!!!Upon arrival there was half eaten food on floor and clumps of hair.It was obvious that it had not been vacuumed at all.I went to wash my hands and the hand towel was covered with short black hair.It was so bad that I took pictures of it.After 2 days and after begging for someone to come vacuum our carpet I called the desk and told them if they would bring me a vacuum I would do it myself.A maid finally showed up and she did not know how to run the vacuum.The next morning we were chasing bugs.I also had to go and buy sheets and blankets because ours was covered with hair.I left my number for the manger to call us but never heard from him, by day 3 I was in tears.I shouldn't have to beg for a clean room!!!Its not that hard to clean I know because I do it for a living!!!!

There was only one guy at the desk that tried to help me and was very nice to me probably because at that point I was crying.He was going to try and move us but the manger had the remaining rooms locked.NEVER heard from the manger!!!I didn't want anything for free I just wanted a clean room!!Room Tip: Would not stay here ever again 2 Level Contributor “” We stayed for a baseball tournament that ended today.Our room smelled terrible.Fixtures in the bathroom were broken and never repaired.The AC unit could not overcome the humidity- everything in the room- sheets, countertops, tile floors- was damp and sticky.Called for a wake up call- did not get one.Housekeeping is way below standard.Many friends reported that their rooms were never tended to, in spite of 3-4 calls to the front desk.One friend found her room had not been cleaned before she went up.The pool is way too small, and the chairs are old and dirty.The grass surrounding the pool area is unable to handle the foot traffic coupled with rain, so it is more of a mud puddle.

This hotel calls itself a 'resort'.Shame on the owners and the management.I felt terrible for families who spent their hard-earned money to stay at such a dump.Embassy Suites has comparable prices.We stayed there 3 weeks ago and it was immaculate and wonderful.I have never been so happy to check out of a hotel!Room Tip: stay somewhere else!1 Level Contributor “” via mobile The cleaning staff could definitely use some instructions on how to clean.Bathtub wasn't touched the whole time we were there.Bathroom floor was only swept once and that was just in front of the sink.We asked for fresh towels about 4 in the afternoon on day 2,when it was obvious they weren't coming to clean.Took about an hour to get those towels.There we're stains on bedspread.My husband killed a cockroach in our room the first night we stayed there(he didn't inform me of this until we were headed home).And we also saw 2 RATS.One in the grass near the hotel and one trapped in a wooden box below our balcony.
