Background: The new G-Pen Elite from Grenco Science is a much anticipated portable vaporizer.

It feels luxurious, dense and sturdy.G Pen completely changed the design over their previous generation of products, and the Elite has a super modern ergonomic design with a well thought curves and controls. The fingers fit perfectly in the curves of the device and feels natural to hold. One of my favorite qualities of the Elite is the simplicity and ease of use. Before using the Vaporizer, G Pen recommends to register your device on their website and enter the serial number associated with your device. They also recommend charging the Elite for a minimum of 3 hours before the first use. After charging, remove the mouthpiece with two fingers while holding the body with your other hand.Lift the mouthpiece upwards to expose the deep ceramic chamber.Fill the chamber with your favorite Dry Herb (or concentrate in the wax model but I am using the ground material version), and place the mouthpiece back on top.Power on the Elite Vaporizer by pressing the power button 5 times and the LED will turn on and display the current temperature in the chamber.

Adjust temp with the side buttons to the desired temp and Press (and HOLD for one second) the power button. The Elite will now heat up and display the temperature on the LED.When the chamber reached the desired temp (around 30 seconds), inhale and enjoy aromatherapy at it’s best.To toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit hold the power button together with the up button (Cel.), of with the down button (for F.)The Elite was able to produce flavorful, smooth vapor.I experienced the best results when using on 375F and taking slow, long draws.I was surprised that the Elite was able to stay cool to touch even after a minute or two of vaping. It did not get uncomfortably hot like some Vapes do.I usually don’t like Vapes where the chamber is right underneath the mouthpiece as usually, this means that the vapor does not have enough time to cool before reaching the mouthpiece. But the Elite performed well in this category and produced pleasant warm vapor. The Vapor Quality was MUCH better than the previous generation G Pros.

The G Pen Elite is rated high in my Best Vaporizers of 2017 list and for a good reason. It has the looks and the power. For $134.95 (with coupon code vapeguide10 directly from G Pen) you will not find a better vape.G Pen Elite VS Pax 2: Seems like we got so many questions on Youtube about comparing the Elite vs Pax 2 so I added this paragraph. In my humble opinion, the Pax 2 is over-rated.It was ground-breaking when it first came out and is definitely a good device but the mouthpiece tends to get warm, and I do not see it as the “Best Vape” as it commonly crowned.Add this to a $280 price tag and you can see why I expect to have nothing less than perfect for this price.I think if you have the cash to spend a little more, then go for the Crafty Vaporizer. It is MUCH better than the Pax 2.Again, just my opinion. Now, am I saying that the Elite is better than the Pax 2?But it sure is a VERY close match. The mouthpiece of the Elite also gets a bit warm but seems like it is more manageable than the Pax 2.

Besides, if you get a warm mouthpiece, take the one that’s over $100 cheaper. They perform about the same, and the vapor quality is comparable.Cleaning the Pax 2 is a bit more work as the chamber is on the opposite side of the mouthpiece and there is an airflow tunnel in between, With the Elite, the mouthpiece is over the chamber and there is no air-flow in between. So if I had to make the choice- Elite VS Pax, I’ll go with the Elite.I actually wrote an article about the Elite vs the Pax 2, feel free to check it out for the full comparison.Another close competitor is the Summit + (full review) which retails for $135 (with coupon code). The Summit has great performance but the Elite wins easily when it comes to Elegance and Luxury-feel.It is (the Elite) way sleeker and slimmer than the Summit Plus.Bottom Line: The Elite packs a significant improvement in all aspects over the pre-generation products from G Pen.It is natural to hold, and a breeze to use.I think one of the favorite features for me was the ease of use.
