It gets hot very fast and my advice would be to not fill the chamber with too much dry herb, when you do it makes it almost impossible to heat the herb and the unit clogs, believe me when I tell you this less is more, you really only need a pinch of dried herb for this, and you'll see the difference in the amount of smoke this produces, it's night and day.I do like this and it is a cheap item, but it's not a vaporizer, the herbs you put in this will experience combustion as they are in direct contact with the heating coil so they do burn, if you want a true vaporizer or need to use a vaporizer this is not the product for you, it's effectively an electric pipe but for what it does it is effective.All in all a good item, but not a true Vape.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful I took a chance with the G pen,although it's looks great and it's discreet, he heating chamber is both fragile and doesn't heat up well consistently, it's not a good value.I'm m a very disappointed and paid for the same unit twice and it has the same problem.
