Water PipesGlass PipesBuy BongMarijuanaDrugsOfferWeed VaporizerBest Herbal VaporizerCannabis PipesForwardWe have the largest variety of strains including OG Kush, pineapple kush, sour diesel, blue dream, lemon haze and more than 30 others.Legion is a show that rewards openness. It’s like a Virginia Woolf novel that way, if you’ll forgive me making a very grand comparison that would probably have Noah Hawley spluttering on his coffee. It’s a show that asks that you hold yourself lightly, be loose, let it take you along its own slipstreams.Trying to hold to a traditional cause/effect narrative here is only going to give you a timeline tension headache. But we needn’t be lost without those old guideposts. As in Hannibal, the paths here are the emotional through-lines.What we see and hear may not be real, may not be now, but what David feels about them — what we feel about them — that is.It’s a dream.Or in David’s case, maybe a memory.Which is all to say: I watched the second episode of Legion and drifted into all sorts of places.

Join me!If you liked that V. Woolves reference you’re probably gonna be happy with this: ‘Chapter 2’ begins with David serving up some F. Scott VO from a literal boat beating against the current: “And so we ran on, into Summerland, and the place they said does not exist.” Borne back ceaselessly into the past?Well give them a few minutes but, very yes.Moments layer together in daymare disruption, sunny tranquility and grim men and dogs in the trees and a pleasant clear voice singing and David panting in wide-eyed pain.
vaporizer after septoplastyDr. Melanie Bird has brought him to her beautiful facility deep in the woods, called Summerland, not ominously at all, where other young rescued mutants have come to, quote, “do the work that must be done.” Again, not ominously at all.Summerland seems to have an immediately sapping effect upon David, who can hardly keep himself upright in the midcentury modern elevator, and then just fully collapses into the arms of the first person he meets. As he shudders on a bed, Dr. Bird tells David that they believe he’s a very powerful telepath, and that all the strong minds here in Summerland are overwhelming him.I’m gonna start a lot of sentences in these with “what I love about X-Men is.” What I love about X-Men is TELEPATHY.

Telepathy is like the most awful, awesome power, and also makes you uniquely, fucked-up-edly fragile. But Dr. Bird can help. She teaches David how to imagine a knob and dial all the voices out except for hers, speaking his name. Not bad for the first day!Now get some sleep in your nifty little deco bunk because tomorrow we’re gonna start digging into your surely very nice and not at all upsetting memories! The next day opens with Dr. Bird rolling out this doozy of a line: “David, your whole life people have told you you were sick.

dx4 vaporizer wikiWhat if I told you every memory you have of mental illness — voices, hallucinations — was just your power.”Honestly this is SO problematic that I almost feel it has to be intentional.
vaporizer health effects

I mean could this BE more perfectly constructed to appeal to someone with paranoid schizophrenia?Especially the conspiracy theory element that all his doctors had been colluding to lie to him and keep him in the dark, that no one ever wanted to actually help him.If this ends up truly being the takeaway of this show, that message is doing a terrible disservice to both people living with mental illness and mental health professionals. But I’m not taking full ish just yet, because the rest of this episode is going to do nothing but keep the door WIIIIIIDE open to the idea that Dr. Bird is wrong, that it hasn’t all just been his powers.
vaporizer humidifier australiaThat it’s been both, mutant and mentally ill.And what do we do with That.In the meantime, Melanie tells David they have the ability to look through his memories and help him rewrite the story of his life.David, hilariously, just goes, “Do we have time for that?”Son, we’ve got a whole ROOM for that.Turns out it’s Ptonomy who is the MEMORY ARTIST, AHH, with a mutation that allows him to take people into their own recollections.

As a taster, he blips the three of them into that memory of David and Amy playing in the woods with the beagle.David is a little rocked and a lot delighted, and just wants to go scampering through the field after them.Ptonomy’s like it’s your memory my dude, where do you wanna go?How about this cute house!Complete with his mom!Only, fascinatingly, we never see her face….David, emotional, tells Dr. Bird that they lived upstate where there was no light pollution, because his dad was an astronomer. At this point we’ve shifted to David’s room, my beloved rocket lamp spinning in the corner.Tearing up, he tells them his father died last year, and he couldn’t go to his funeral because he was in the hospital. My dear :(We can’t see his dad’s face either, and oh friends this is getting spooky… Ptonomy says David just needs to look up to see him, because it’s his memory, but when he does we just get a direct shot on the children’s book his dad is reading him: The World’s Angriest Boy In the World, in which a small evil boy STRAIGHT MURDERS HIS PARENTS.“…the fuck?” - Ptonomy and also meLittle David is so scared, Grown David is also so scared, Melanie and Ptonomy are like thiiis does not seem to fit like, this charming vibe we had going?

Then the bedroom starts shaking.Voices start clambering up in David’s ears.Back in this Sol Lewitt cube in the forest, he pulls his hands from the table and falls back, cowers into the corner, panicking, pushing against the glass trying to find a way out while Syd attempts to calm him down.Ptonomy just walks up, places a hand over David’s forehead, and says: “Sleep.”Yeeahh, see, that was strange. That was not a simple Find-and-Replace for powers like Melanie was hoping. That did not go well, David Haller does not seem well.Speaking of, let’s go back in time to pre-Clockworks David, whose highly distractible demeanor inspires his therapist to remark “You seem twitchy today,” and me to mutter “either you are strung out on something right now or there is something very up with you.”“Nope, this is me normal!”Uh.This was apparently in the period right after Philly had left, and it’s clear David is already well on his downward spiral.Dr. Poole is worried about him, because he knows how much big life changes can upset someone who is living with a mental illness.

I myself am also worried about the strange visual jolt that happened during this therapy session, like a skip in the tape.Session over, David heads out of the office, adding an essential coat to this #ensembMay I just say: wow.And who does this insomniac punk vampire mime see waiting for him across the street?Well I did not know these two were friends before Clockworks!Hey!My manic street misfits go wheeling this kitchen range off down an alley, Lenny sorta but not really explaining where she got it with: “This girl I finger-banged took a real shine to me.” BOOOYAAAHHH.Knew it.David then wakes up with his head pillowed on a blanket of artisan moss. He’s laying on some sort of greenery circle inside Summerland with a taxidermied mountain goat and Ptonomy offering him a glass of milk. This show is a surrealist gift.Presumedly Ptonomy deposited him here after he sent him to sleep, then just hung around waiting for him to wake up.The milk helps, he says.Memory Work is really rough on you the first time.“Melanie thinks you’re the key,” Ptonomy offers.

“The key to winning the war.And other things.” Oh well that’s CHILL.David just decides to move past that for now, and tells Ptonomy his memory skills are “weirdly impressive.” Ptonomy starts talking about it a bit, about his childhood. There’s a neat moment when he tells him his dad was deaf in one ear from an artillery shell during the war, and it’s like the audio quality for David suddenly goes windy. Then Ptonomy tells David he can remember his own birth, and sets about describing that.Again, chill. With zero segue or even pause, Ptonomy, my new favorite wildcard, asks David to tell him about that storybook, you know that one about the boy killing his parents that his dad used to read him at bedtime.David’s just like uhhh, ahhh, hmm, so Ptonomy tells him he can wait and talk about it with Melanie, as she’s the one who does Talk Work.Just drink your milk for now, kid.Later, David is hanging out by himself on a swing set in the dark.Syd wanders up wearing some Rogue gloves, veerrry nice.In case you had been wondering, this is the moment when they are finally gonna talk about what happened when they changed places.

“Everything in the day room was so loud,” Syd remembers. She describes the drumming, the lights, and the moment she felt something else there. That’s what scared her so bad that she slammed all the walls shut. She starts apologizing about Lenny and David tells her it’s not her fault, uses Lenny’s words even.Oh I kinda like that.Anyway what Sydney did caused a big enough ping on the mutant radar that both Melanie and Division 3 came running. And now here they are.David breathes in sharply and pulls himself up.“I…wanna hug you,” he explains.TWIZZLERS PLS.“Can I be honest?” Syd ventures.“That’s really uncomfortable for me.Even with the gloves.”AH, wait, oh she genuinely doesn’t like to be touched! It’s not just that she can’t, the whole thing makes her anxious!!I THOUGHT MAYBE THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE IT BE CIRCUMSTANCE NOT A PREFERENCE BUT IT’S BOTH AND IT’S SO GOOD I’M SO GLAD I LOVE YOU MY ACE-Y GIRLSyd says she’s sorry and David says she shouldn’t be.

He gazes at her fondly: “We’re having a romance of the mind.”me, from under all the pillows and blankets I have just flung on myself in delight: “I LOVE THAT!”Oh holy god. It’s only right now as I’m rewatching this for recapping that I’ve realized eventually they’re going to sleep together telepathically, and I think I just passed out a little bit.WHAT I LOVE ABOUT X-MEN IS T E L E P A T H YOkay, [shaking head back into focus, still grinning like an idiot], oookay what’s next.Oh it’s David getting an old school MRI from the dictionary’s definition of an absent minded professor. He’s darting around listing seemingly random words and being fluttery and bespectacled. There are mice cruising along in a tube that runs along the ceiling, as well as a stuffed one (this show and taxidermy….)His name is Cary, and I have no idea what his deal is but I am very willing to learn.Cary remarks that David has an extremely large amygdala, and David thanks him, but I’ve buried my head in my hands because oh no, emotioncity, emotion and meemmoryy.Speaking of emotion and memory, Cary asks David to think of something or someone he loves.

He thinks of his sister Amy.Aww.Seriously what the hell with this apartment though!!He recalls the time Amy visited the Anthropologie photoshoot he lived in, with the news that she thinks her boyfriend is going to propose to her.David is in a fog, and she snaps her fingers in front of him like Ptonomy said his dad used to do when he couldn’t remember a date.David turns his glassy blue eyes on her and grins.he says earnestly, seeming to think that’s the normal response.Actually I kind of love that and think we should all start congratulating people on engagements with “good job.” Did a good job on that one.Landed a spouse. But when Amy suggests that maybe he and Philly will get married some day, David awkwardly shrugs it off.“Why can’t you have what everyone else has?” Amy asks, frustrated, with the world.“A nice home, a family?”“Because I’m sick,” David replies simply. On cue, he hears an echoey dog bark, and is suddenly back on the street with Lenny, trying to trade her orange stove to an amusing alleyway kingpin while David stares at this woofing mutt like he has never seen anything like this before in his life.Lenny clearly doesn’t need his help to make this deal though, and soon enough has scored their drug of choice: a bottle of blue liquid they vaporize in a puffing frog once they’ve scrambled back to David’s apartment.

I have seen this frog before, haven’t I?Wasn’t there a flash of this in the last episode?Dang I love this show’s ICONOGRAPHY.While Lenny sets up the vaporizer, David casts wild eyes around the room, hearing the stuffed bird cawing (TAXIDERMY), the lion head carved into the arm of this old sofa rumbling, Lenny talking about possibly robbing his therapist so they can hawk his fancy shit for drug money — only that one is, unfortunately, totally real. But enough of all of that — the frog has started puffing out vapor. These skinny little junkie besties.Of course, David then sees Lenny as the Devil With the Yellow Eyes, horrifying, and that’s when Ptonomy freezes the memory.Did you know we were in a guided memory?Did David is actually the question on this show.[wonky sing-song] ~*Unreliable Naaaarratorr*~In fact, David is such an unreliable narrator that I’m getting the impression he may actually be hiding things from himself.Melanie and Ptonomy are starting to find the strange skips and flashes in his memories, and when they ask my amenable walnut about them he doesn’t have answers, but seems utterly sincere when he says that he trusts them, that he’s trying.Oddly, the more David’s mind is revealing itself to truly be a honeycomb of horrors, the more strongly Dr. Bird is insisting that he’s not schizophrenic.

Which frankly must be a pretty ghastly proposition for David, as it means his monsters would be real. After they manage to catch a glimpse of the Maelstrom In the Kitchen (god, maybe my favorite repeated image in this show’s tarot deck), Ptonomy instructs David to make his mind blank, and he’ll take them there.Instead they end up flipping back to his childhood room again, Little David in bed, the rocket lamp spinning by the window.Ptonomy can’t pull them out, claiming David’s too strong. All he seems right now though is strongly frightened, frantically backing away from the bookshelf when it begins shaking, laughter and whispers starting to pool around him.The World’s Angriest Boy In the World comes flying out, landing on the carpet. So you know how earlier when I was talking about how we’re following an emotional narrative, not a sequential one? This next scene is here because it’s about feeling safe, not because it occurred next.Based on outfits this happened on David’s first day of Memory Work, whereas what we just saw was clearly later. But what we just saw had to do with David being beset by terrors all around him, as the terrors come from his own head.

David was not a kid who could feel safe even tucked in to bed.And now, here he is in a place called Summerland, asking Syd: “Do you think we’re safe here?”“Right now,” Syd says.“But I know they’re looking for us.To experiment on, or…” But I’ll protect you, her voice echoes between them.Hahaha, ohh the comedy of errors that is someone learning how to use their telepathy! After some “What?” / “Huh?” back and forth, it finally comes out that yes he did just hear her adorably protective thoughts.David starts apologizing that he doesn’t know how to control it yet, and Syd just goes, “Well, learn.” Fantastic. You are cute though, she thinks deliberately, smiling out at the water, and David dips his head and laughs. We return to David in Cary’s MRI.Cary says it won’t be too much longer, that they’re just trying to figure out where all his memories are stored — do you not know??Are they somewhere else than they should be???David what is your brain!Cary asks him to think about what happened next, and he goes back to Dr. Poole’s office again.

We learn he was 10 or 11 when he begin to get the sense that, as his therapist puts it, he thought he could see another world out of the corner of his eye.Dr.Poole asks what he remembers most about those years.David pauses for a second, thinking, then fondly starts listing constellations. He lit loves space, oh my little star child! The most focused he has been yet in this session, he talks about how his dad used to wake him up in the night and they’d drive out to a hill to look at the stars.MM, love a good dissolve.“I’d look up at the lights in the sky and, they’d talk to me,” he says, kinda dazzle eyed.“Which was… And I thought they’d talk to everybody. And I told my dad, and he said, at first, he said ‘Well they talk to me too.’ But he meant it like a…metaphor.”What did the stars say, oh David what did they say!But before he can answer Dr. Poole’s question, the closet door creaks open, revealing a blackness full of whispers and awful, crumbling noises.Dr. Poole notices David’s CLEAR distress, and goes to close the door, which of course just distresses him more because he’s getting closer to it.

But despite David frantically trying to change the subject and distract him, Dr. Poole still walks over and pulls it shut. It’s fine.“It’s just a closet David.Nothing to worry about. You see.” David does see.he sees too muuuchBack in the MRI, David’s brain is providing all sorts of intriguing readings for Cary. But hold on to your waistcoat, my man, because shit’s about to get cray.“David,” a woman’s voice says in his head, as happens maybe 75 times an episode.“David.” It’s not Cary, OR Kerry, who is also in the room, and goes halfway to explaining some dialogue antics earlier. It sounds like Amy.David imagines the giant dial, and tries to tune her in.He finds her. She’s at Clockworks, where they’re telling her they have no record of a David Haller ever being a patient there.Look, they’re repairing the walls!“Perhaps you have us confused with another facility,” the woman at the desk says, then when Amy leans in and asks if someone has put her up to this, suggests maybe Ms.

Haller herself should be admitted for observation.Amy’s like okay, TIME TO SCRAM.Cary is peering veerrry closely at David’s readings.Over at Clockworks, David is literally flickering into view and calling Amy’s name, trying to keep her from walking down the hallway into the waiting arms of The Eye and his Domino Goons. She hears him (!), but it’s too late.Back at Summerland, Cary has Never Seen Anything Like It, and excitedly rushes out of the room hollering that he’ll be right back.Still closed up tight in the MRI machine, David calls out, but there’s no one there. He shorts out some of the electrics with his mounting anxiety, and then hears the laughing, and those low wet crumbling noises that herald THAT THING.David shuts his eyes tight.Story time!Skip ahead if you do not wish to be regaled with the first nightmare I can remember having.I was probably 5 or 6, and I was having this dream that I was flying a space ship.It was all dark except for the lights of the control panel and the stars.

In the other seat next to me was a monster.I knew it was there, but I wasn’t looking at it.It was just sitting, all it was doing was SITTING, and it was horrible.I knew it was there. And I knew I could turn and look at it, and it would just be sitting there. And when I did look it’s like I couldn’t even see it directly because I was so scared. It was the worst thing, just sitting there with me, HORRIBLE, and that is what the Devil With the Yellow Eyes reminds me of.After conking his head against the MRI, David steels himself, and tries to peer down to his feet.HORRIBLE.He squeezes his eyes shut again, and when he opens them —It’s interesting. He almost always uses his telekinesis defensively.I mean, Erik Lehnsherr this is not.The way Erik’s powers manifested was him trying to act on a world that was trying to keep him from doing so.David just flings things away from himself.Actually he and Syd are probably pretty similar in that urge. What will be very sweet is when he figures out how to control it and can push things away for her, give her a buffer, absence she’ll feel like his hug.

Oh she’s gonna love him so hard.Anyway speaking of Syd, she joins David as he stonily rides the midcentury modern elevator with a bag on his shoulder and A Mission written all over his face.Sydney asks if he’s leaving because of her.“We can hold hands.I want to,” she says, very convincingly.David explains it’s because he saw Division 3 nab Amy and he has to go save her, even though he has no idea how the hell he even found her and also how he blew the MRI machine out into yard.Syd, bless her, is just like ok no, don’t go Luke Skywalker after your sister without finishing swamp CrossFit with Yoda.Do The Work and THEN go.David concedes that she has a point.“But how do I know they won’t kill her?”“Because she’s bait,” Syd explains.Oh damn you’re right. And the man with a cloud in his eye has her in a creepy dark green tiled room, where he has just brought in a little tank of tiny eels.Oh I’m gonna hate this aren’t I.Wellntruly’s Way Long Legion RecapsChapter 1
