I sent it back to Vaporfection for repair and was waiting for them to call and give me the cost to fix it etc. When they called he said it would ship back to me in a couple of days and he was about to hang up when I said "hey I didn't give you any payment information?".His answer is why I'm writing "oh well we feel the heating unit was defective so we're replacing it for free".THAT is cool as hell!An awesome vape matched by awesome service!6 of 6 people found the following review helpful I was thrilled to purchase my Vivape 2 vaporizer during the summer of 2013.I received the package and immediately opened the UPS box which dawned a sleek white box with a captivating modern look for a vaporizer of its time.Everything that the instructional videos endorsed in their videos were present and I used it the same day.The two pieces that are most important for this machine are the herbal chamber and the mouth piece.I am a firm believer in accidents happening, I took pre-caution and bought two of the herbal chambers.

I have been in multiple situations in which the herbal chamber had been broken the first time it was in a pouch in a lunch bag that I used to carry the vape and one day I opened the pouch to find it shattered because it clashed with the heavier mouth piece and the second time it broke due to clumsiness.These pieces ARE NOT CHEAP, the mouth piece and chamber cost near 55 dollars together.The bag method is okay, it does produce vapor but it is not quite as heavy as others vaporizers and same goes for the wand method.It has great taste and the design will always wow anyone interested but getting good draws can be tideous as you constantly have to stir the herb and increase the temperature if using with peers.I would recommend for a mediocre experience use with 3 people, for a good time use with 2 people and for the best experience use for yourself.The design is weird with the whip location and constant running fan, and they tried to push elegance a little to much with the safety features but overall it is a true desktop vape and will leave little smell and give great taste.

It is a okay vape that you get your moneys worth but has a great look.Touch screen is a little funky too but with time it is second nature to adjust to its minor design imperfections that are more annoying than bad.This is the most honest review on here and overall my vape has been on a desk and still as sleek nearly 3 years later.Just used it and came on here to fill you guys in.I would say there are better vapes out there but if another price drop went on it it would be the perfect buy.Though if you do purchase you will have many classy and good times if taken care of like it should be.Real talk Jnix 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful This is a great product, worth every penny.Only con I have is bags only fill right with a fresh screen.I highly recommend buying 1000 1/2" screens on eBay for $20.I have been vaping for years and I have myself bought a hotbox, vaporbros, silversurfer, and my vivape.I've also lived with roommates who had a vapor tower, a volcano, and a vrip.

The vivape performs better than all of them.Only the vrip with a nice device tastes like herb as much as the vivape and only the volcano was as efficient.Vaporfections customer support is also worth mentioning.They respond fast and answered every question I asked them.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful I have never used a vape before.So it was a little strange at first.The first thing I did was use the bag because that's what I was told everyone did, but my vape came with a whip also.The bag is nice but it gets old attaching and disconnecting it.I prefer the whip now.I have my vape set up with the whip next to my lazyboy, It is aesthetically pleasing and it sits proudly on my end table.The only thing I would like to see, which I'm probably going to mcguiver, is a divert valve in between the vape and my whip so I don't have to keep disconnecting my whip from the vape after every draw.I love not having to smoke my medication but it takes a little to getting use to if you have never used one.

A: The viVape is designed for use with herbs only.Q: Is this the viVape model 1 or 2?A: This is the most current model of the viVape.Q: What is the temperature range?A: The viVape starts as low as 126 °F and will go up to 446 °F.Step 1: Remove unit from upper shelf of the packaging container, place the viVape on a flat, stable, clean, dry and dust-free surface.Remove top shelf to access the bottom accessory shelf, a power cord is located in the lower accessory shelf, proceed to plug the unit into an electrical wall outlet.The viVape is designed to be used universally with a power voltage rating of 110/240, 50-60 Hz., the touch screen display will light up indicating that the unit is ready for use.Note: an outlet adaptor may be required for international use, check local requirements.Step 2: Press the ON button on the touch screen display, a Timer Screen will come up on the display; set the timer for your choice of default shut-off time, by pressing the + or – buttons, (the timer can be set from 15 minutes to 3 hours of use) then press SET.

Step 5: First slide the 1” tube safety cover over the 3’ silicon tubing, then moisten the smallest ends of each glass part before inserting into each end of the silicone tubing; this makes it easier to insert the glass herbal container / whip on one end after which you slide the tube safety cover over the joint created by the overlap of the silicon tubing and the glass herbal container/whip, and then the glass mouth adapter at the other end.Once assembled, load the ground herbal material into the herbal container/whip by using the assembled wand hand kit as a vacuum by inhaling from the mouth adapter, and by pointing/placing the whip on top of the herbal material and using it as a vacuum to pick up the material to be vaporized.You can fill the clear glass area of the whip with the desired amount of herb, from full to 1/3 of the glass area above the screen and below the lower portion of the ground glass joint, based on desired consumption.Step 6: Once the viVape has reached the target temperature (turns green) and the end of the air chamber turns blue, you’re ready to go.

By picking up the herbal container/whip by the clear tube safety cover in one hand, insert the glass herbal container/whip’s ground joint into the unit’s heating chamber opening, and with the other hand bring the glass mouth piece to your mouth and begin to inhale slowly and steadily until desired vapor is achieved.Note: it may take a few seconds for the vapor to accumulate once the wand is inserted into the heating chamber, you will notice a slight vapor coming out of the mouth piece when you’re ready to begin inhaling.Step 7: If you feel the vapor is too weak or too harsh for your preference, you can increase (harshen) or decrease (weaken) the target temperature setting by pressing the Change Target Temperature tab, which brings up the Temperature Adjustment screen.Temperature can be selected to read in Fahrenheit or Celsius by selecting and pressing the desired tab; to change ‘Target Temperature’ press the + or - button on the display until the desired ‘Target Temperature’ is shown and then press SET, the display will then return to the Operations screen.

Repeat this procedure to set a different target temperature of your choice or until you have reached your desired temperature and the best quality of vapor that you desire.Step 8: After desired inhalations, by holding the clear tube safety cover, remove the glass herbal container/whip from the heating chamber (never touch the actual glass whip or heating chamber right after use, as they will be too hot).Occasionally stir the herbal material with the provided Stirring Stick located in the plastic bag in the lower shelf of the packaging container, this is necessary in order to obtain maximum benefit and vapor quality from your herbal material.Once finished, you can discard the vaporized herbal material by blowing through the mouth adapter, just reverse the loading process, (unless you are using an Aquavape in which case you would remove the Aquavape then proceed to blow the material out) by pointing the herbal container/whip into a waste container.Note: that you should never leave the viVape unit unattended while it is being operated.

Please note, it’s advised to remove the herbal container/whip from the unit while you’re not actually inhaling/vaporizing since this will result in unnecessary heating/wasting of material from excessive heat exposure.Step 9: The viVape has a unique feature, ‘Set It and Forget It,’ and an automatic cooling and shut off timer.After using the viVape, press the OFF button on the display; only the fan will continue running and the display will indicate ‘cooling down do not unplug’ the unit until it shuts down by itself automatically.You may leave the unit plugged in as it will go into a dormant state until you touch the Touch Screen to ON screen for future use or you can unplug and store the unit once it has safely cooled down and the fan has turned off completely; this will allow the unit to cool down safely in order to protect the components from being damaged by not being cooled properly with the fan.The unit will remember your Target Temperature when turned on for your next time of use.
