Granted, I just bought this and haven't been using it for very long but my first impression is that it's worth the price.I find it better than slathering the menthol rub all over my chest.Just remember that this is not a humidifier, all it does is heat the menthol pad to disperse it in the air.So if you need just the menthol similar to the rub, this is for you.Yes () No () Report Yes () No () I am not a fan of the water-filled humidifiers and when my mother and I were trying to find a waterless one for my 2 year old son when he had a severe cold to loosen the congestion a bit, we ran across this at Wal-Mart and became a household life saver.So much, that when my two aunts came from Texas to Georgia to visit (both with very bad allergies), they slept with these and opened them up each night throughout the day.We ended up buying each of them one for Christmas!It can be kind of strong for those without allergies or sinus that have sensitive noses (my mother) however I didn't have a cold or allergies, and it helped me sleep better breathing in the soothing medicine and the night light was bright enough to light pathways throughout the home.
